It’s that time of year for some awesome fishing at Broken Bow Lake. The Bass have been staging for the spawn and it is fast approaching and the action on the lake is great. This is the first year in several that the weather has actually cooperated and the lake levels are normal giving us a great fishing season. Here is a nice largemouth and some crappie I caught yesterday afternoon. There was not a cloud in the sky and the water is crystal clear so I was a bit surprised when I felt that much pull after setting the hook. Got him on a light action rod with 6 lb test. We had our 2nd ever Music Under the Stars March 13th and it was a great success. We had so much fun! And a great turnout. We started around 6, just as the sun was slipping away for the night. The beautiful evening sky filled with sparkling stars and we filled the air with music of all kinds. Campfires were all around and they sure helped keep everyone warm as it was a little brisk out there. Next festival coming up is Music MAYnia & More on May 22nd at Beavers Bend State Park.
