From DALLAS-FT WORTH – 194 miles
Take I-30 East out of the DFW area to Hwy 259 North (Exit 178) near DeKalb. If you get to the New Boston exit, you’ve gone too far. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next intersection (David Beard’s Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.

From SHREVEPORT – 152 miles
Take Hwy 71 North to Texarkana. Take I-30 West to Hwy 82. Take Hwy 82 West to Hwy 259 North near DeKalb. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next intersection (David Beard’s Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.

From Talimena Scenic Drive – 47 miles
At the Big Cedar intersection, take Hwy 259 South. You will see Cedar Creek Golf Course on your left, then Carson Creek entrance to the lake on your left. Slow down now. Turn right at the row of mailboxes. Follow signs to Hickory Hill Cabins. (If you get to the Steven’s Gap Lake entrance, you went too far).

From OKLA CITY – 236 miles
Take I-40 East to Henryetta, to the Indian Nation Turnpike to Antlers
exit #16. From there take Hwy 3 East to Broken Bow.

From TULSA – 207 miles
Take Hwy 75 South to Henryetta, to the Indian Nation Turnpike to Antlers. From there take Hwy 3 East to Broken Bow.

From HOUSTON – 340 miles
Take Hwy 59 North to Nachogdoches. Take Hwy 259 North. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next intersection (David Beard’s Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.
