Beavers Bend Park hiking trailBeavers Bend State Park offers an interpretive nature center and the entire area offers hiking trails for all experience levels in a deep forest setting. You will have access to thousands of acres of the Ouachita National Forest near the cabins, where you will find great hiking trails, bird watching, deer and turkey hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding and ATV 4-wheeler riding. We are also home to Oklahoma’s ONLY year round trout stream!
Just minutes from Beaver’s Bend Park lies beautiful Broken Bow Lake with it’s pristine deep, clear water. It is a water lover’s playground. The lake is unique in that it is surrounded by mountains and the Ouachita National Forest meaning that no private structures are allowed on the lake. This means lots of privacy and plenty of lake to enjoy without fighting the crowds. Skiers and wake boarders love the calm waters. Fishing is excellent for many species and the lake holds the state record large mouth bass at just under 15 lbs! No matter what type of outdoor adventure you are into, this area has something for you! Come visit us and see what it’s all about.
